My rant on DmC in general-Why to support it

I'm not trying to insult anyone but...

This shit has GOT to stop NOW.

All this bitching about New Dante and Ninja Theory and DmC in general is so fucking old!

This rant is inspired by all the brave folk who have ranted, and gladly recieved hate comments from haters.

Anyhoo, on to the rant

So, there are a number of reasons that DMC fans have conjured up to hate DmC. All the reasons are VERY stupid. I mean so stupid, that it defies all Physics of gaming. Like, how New Dante looks, or the gameplay, or even whether or not that New Dante looks like Tameem or not.

His appearance is one of the main complaints. They have went from him looking like Edward Cullen to him looking like Tameem himself; and along side the way, even considered him looking like Rihanna. He looks like NEITHER OF THEM. Perhaps Tameem took a few traits from other people to base his character design? Who knows? WHO CARES? True gamers wouldn't even consider character design. If character design was all that mattered in the gaming world, games like Banjo Cazooy (or however you spell it) or Crash Bandicoot wouldn't even be looked at. Or considered for that matter.

Gamers' tip 01: Storyline is one of the main traits that matter in a videogame.

I'm no gamer (God knows I don't have time for that), but I do know that if you consider character looks over storylines then you're no gamer either. The game could have the worse graphics ever and still be considered a five-star videogame. Take Final Fantasy VII for instance. The characters are nothing but chibi box-like figurines that have nubs for hands. The battle system graphics make them look more human like, and the CGI is off the wall (Considering it was a 1997 videogame). Yet the storyline is amazing. Psychological, as my brother would put it; all of it separated on to three black and white disks. The game itself sprouted several sequels and two prequels. More than any other FF game created(Kingdom Hearts doesn't really count as an FF game because it features Disney and Final Fantasy at the same time).

Bleh. I know that no one is gonna read this, so why do I bother?

Oh right, the rant.

Anyhoo, another main complaint is on the slowness of the gameplay. Yeah, umm...watch a DmC gameplay video and be sure to not miss the beginning where it says "Work in progress gameplay". Doesn't take a genius to think that MAYBE the gameplay is slow because its not yet finished. I mean, COME ON! Use some freakin' common sense!

Oh wait, common sense is uncommon in society these days. I forgot.

But it really doesn't take a genius to figure that part out. Really. My seven year old cousin can figure that out. Duh.

Dante's origins in the game are another huge controversal thing. He's half angel, half demon, which isn't so bad if you think about it. It sure helps me out with my OC Night, who is part angel and part demon as well. Who knows? Perhaps New Dante is Dante's son in another universe? It would make a hell of a storyline.

Then there is his smoking issue that was ranted upon back in 2010. "OMG HE'S SMOKING! THATS NOT OUR DANTE!"

DUH! OF COURSE ITS NOT OUR DANTE! ITS QUITE OBVIOUS THAT THE STORYLINE ISN'T CANON! USE THAT THING CALLED A BRAIN!

I'm insulting you, aren't I? ^_^ Oh well. Cry me a fucking river why dontcha?

Besides, why hate a game that hasn't even BEEN PLAYED YET?

Good-bye now. I'm gonna go enjoy the rest of my Sunday and not give a damn if haters stalk my DA profile.
